Dental Expertise in Indianapolis

Dr. Fraiz grew up in Carmel, Indiana, following in the footsteps of his father (Joseph Fraiz, MD) into health care. While his father specializes in infectious disease medicine, Dr. Fraiz focuses on patients’ smiles and oral health. He graduated from Louisville’s School of Dentistry and served patients in Warsaw, Indiana, before returning to Indianapolis to launch Indy Dental Health.

Dr. Fraiz and his wife, Elizabeth, have four children: Ethan, Issac, Jordan, and Ester. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, wakeboarding, and snow skiing.

Born and raised in Carmel, Indiana, Dr. Fraiz earned a bachelor’s degree from Taylor University, a master’s degree from Purdue University, and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Since dental school, he has pursued numerous surgical and cosmetically focused continuing education courses, using technology to enhance patients’ smiles.

He and his wife, Dr. Whitney Fraiz, an internist at St. Vincent Hospital, have three children: Cooper, Russell, and Jolene. He enjoys spending time with his children, fly fishing, hiking, and snow skiing.

Dr. Griffith grew up on a farm in Lebanon, Indiana. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Purdue University, graduating magna cum laude with research honors, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Her passion for dentistry comes from providing the most enjoyable experience possible for patients. She takes the time to communicate fully with each patient to understand their dental needs and ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their treatment. She also values the transformative power of modern cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Griffith has two sons, Connor and Charlie. She enjoys outdoor activities such as water-skiing, hiking, and camping, and loves spending quality time with her family.

Born in Bloomington, Indiana, Dr. Hecht received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

She has over 25 years of experience practicing in the Carmel area. Dr. Hecht enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and educating them on how oral health affects overall well-being.

Dr. Hecht has two grown daughters, Rani and Nina, who live on the East Coast. She loves traveling and experiencing different cultures.

Dr. Wilmore is a lifelong Indianapolis area resident. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. She completed a residency in general practice at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Administration Medical Center.

She served as an assistant professor in the preventive dentistry department at Indiana University School of Dentistry and conducted clinical research. She has won multiple awards for her research, including the Procter & Gamble Award for Excellence in Preventive Oral Health Care, and presented at the national convention of the American Association for Dental Research. Dr. Wilmore enjoys blending art and science in dentistry, meeting new patients, and providing care with a soft touch and kind heart.

She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two children. She enjoys bike riding with her family, arts and crafts, and gardening.

Dr. Porath was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hope College in Holland, MI. After graduation, he attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree.

Dr. Porath’s passion for dentistry comes from his desire to make patients feel welcome and comfortable. He prioritizes giving each patient plenty of time to ask questions, explore treatment options, and feel confident in the plan that works best for them.

Dr. Porath lives in Carmel with his girlfriend, who attends Marian University Medical School, and their three pets. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking with his dog, playing guitar, playing intramural hockey, and skiing.
